Lower temperatures will result in slower cure. Heating the assembled part accelerates the curing process. Activator Fasto AP49 should be used when the temperature is less than 5°C. Cure speed vs. bond gap The size of the bond gap greatly affects the speed of cure of anaerobic adhesives. Bond gap varies with thread type and size of the fastener. The larger the gap between surfaces, the slower the cure speed. Maximum recommended gap for Fasto LockSeal HS is 0.15mm. Cure speed vs. Substrate Cure speed and strength vary according to the substrates. When used on mild steel and brass components Fasto LockSeal HS will reach full strength more rapidly than on more inert materials such as stainless steel and zinc dichromate. Anaerobic Adhesives only cure in the absence of air with metal part activation. Cure speed vs. Activator Where speed is too slow or the bond gap is very large, Fasto AP49 Activator may be used to accelerate cure speed. The use of an accelerator may reduce bond strength up to 30%. Fasto recommends testing on the parts of measure the effect. TYPICAL ENVIRONMENTAL RESISTANCE Hot strength Fasto LockSeal HS is suitable for use at temperatures up to 150°C. At 150°C the bond strength will be ~45% of the strength of at 21°C.Heat ageingFasto LockSeal HS retains over 90% full strength when heated to 100°C for 90 days then cooled and tested at 21°C. Chemical / Solvent Resistance Fasto LockSeal HS exhibit excellent chemical resistance to most oils and solvents including motor oil, leaded petrol, brake fluid, acetone, ethanol, propanol and water. Anaerobic adhesives and sealants are not recommended for use in pure oxygen and chlorine lines .

Fasto A143 is a general purpose, medium-high strength, very fast curing and high performance thixotropic anaerobic threadlocker. Fasto A143 is formulated to lock all metric and imperial nuts and bolts, preventing vibration loosening and leakage through the threads. A143 is oil tolerant, so it will bond ‘as received’ parts, but best results are obtained with clean substrates. The thixotropic nature of the product prevents run off, dripping and migration after assembly. The product cures when confined in the absence of air on close-fitting metal surfaces. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Fasto A143 is suitable for most medium and coarse threaded screws, nuts and bolts. Fasto SP110T is two part high performance non corrosive transparent silicone based potting compound. Fasto SP110T is specially formulated for various applications where flexible & transparent potting is very imported during assembly. Due to flexibility & low hardness, the potting can be removed for repairing of circuits/components. Fasto SP110T is flowable compound and can be easily used. Fasto SP110T offers good electrical insulation and weatherability. Its performance at high temperature is also excellent. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Fasto SP110T is flexible potting compound. It is very useful where protection of circuits/components from moisture & dust is important. It widely finds its application on LED based lights, automotive lights and other electrical appliances. Fasto SP210G is two part high performance non corrosive non-shrinking fast curing silicone based potting compound. Fasto SP210G is specially formulated for various applications where flexible & rigid potting is very imported during assembly. Due to flexibility & rigidness, the potting can’t be removed easily. Fasto SP210G is flowable compound and can be easily used. Fasto SP210G offers good electrical insulation, thermal conductivity and weatherability. Its performance at high temperature is also excellent. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Fasto SP210G is rigid but flexible potting compound. It is very useful where protection of circuits/components from water, moisture & dust is important. It is non shrinking and widely finds its application on drivers of LED based lights, automotive lights and other electrical appliances where rigid and flexible potting is required. It can seal substrates like metals, glass and various plastics (like PC, ABS, AS, PBT, etc).

Fasto SM30 is a one-part UL certified, PV Grade, all weather, highly flexible, neutral cure, non-corrosive RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant. Being non-corrosive, it does not corrode circuit & contacts. It has excellent resistance to weathering, UV Radiation, vibration, moisture, ozone, air borne pollutants, temperature extremes, cleaning detergents, etc. and ensures that it lasts the life of panel.
