To achieve a fast, controlled, reproducible cure performance, the use ofhigh quality UV lamps is recommended.Cure Speed vs. IntensityFasto UV98E can be cured using sunlight. However, fora controlled, repeatable cure, UV lamps should be used.Cure speed vs. bond gapFasto UV98E is designed for bonding closely fitting glassand metal parts. UV98E can be used to a maximumdepth of ~3mm.CURING MECHANISMFasto UV98E is formulated to cure when exposed to UVradiation of 310nm or above.Chemical / Solvent ResistanceFasto UV98E exhibit excellent chemical resistance tomost oils and solvents including alcohols, methylatedspirit water. Fasto UV-curing adhesives are notrecommended for use in pure oxygen or chlorine lines.DIRECTIONS FOR USEFasto UV98E is very sensitive to UV-light. The adhesivesshould be applied to clean, dry parts. Ensure parts are clean, dry and free from oil and grease. Apply adhesiveto one surface. Once the adhesive is applied, the partscan be positioned correctly and then exposed to UV-lightto initiate curing. Ensure that the entire bond is exposed.Product can be hand applied from the bottle.Dispensing systems are also available for high volumeassembly applications. Feed lines for the dispensingsystem must have black, UV-opaque tubing to avoidadhesive curing in the lines.
